It’s a Birthday Bonanza on Saturday. Rory’s birthday is the 30th, Liz’s is the 2nd. Mine’s the 1st. My myspace bday thing showed me all kinds of people that I like a lot who have birthdays right around the same time. Way.To.Go. we really pulled it off.
Anyways, there’s this party. and it’s gonna be tight. bring food for grillin, booze for drinkin, and weird things, whatever’s weird. but dont bring a bunch of friends. no one needs em. seriously. same drill as ever at the peach pit: party party party, get out fast and go to enids.
Lastly, thank you to Hally and Matt for a monster of a flyer. Matt’s like king-shit-of-designing-tons-of-things-really-well-in-a-short-period-of-time-mountain. Back in the day Hally wanted to paint a portrait of me and I asked her to paint a mural sized-grandiose as hell-painting of me sitting naked on a throne surrounded by tons of hot naked black chicks and my dick’s massive, splits and becomes 2 cobras that are hissing at each other above my head. 4 years later I get this flyer with lazers, orgies and cheeseburger. My heart is weeping joy. See you in the pit

Bad News Book Club begins June 1 with Hunter S. Thompson’s THE RUM DIARY. Official club meetings will be held in NYC but remote reading partners are totally encouraged! Pick up a copy and start reading ASAP.
This was originally and primarily a DUDE’s book club - books about drinking, fucking, fighting, fishing, hunting, misogyny etc etc but all genders and cross genders are welcome as long as you’re still down with the forementioned themes. you also need to be filled with party, hatred and hellfire. and booze and narcotics i guess. oh, and have a fishing pole or gun.
